On the weekend we had visitors!
Our number 2 son and our d-i-l
and their cat, Stewie,
were here.
Unfortunately he moved before I could get a decent picture!
We had just finished supper and he was sitting there
every bit as if he was looking for his.
every bit as if he was looking for his.
AND...
I finished another of the blocks for my white cloth!
The embroidered flowers at the bottom of the upper picture were done by my grandmother and came from what I would call a `tea cloth`. The cloth itself was pretty worn so I didn`t feel
sad to cut it up.
The crocheted pineapples on the upper left came from a dresser scarf and I`m not sure of the origins of that.
AND.....
the latest issue of CQMagOnline is up!
As usual it has a number of interesting articles and lots of eye candy.
btw - if you have been doing any CQ projects, please consider
sending photos on to Rissa to be included in the Reader`s Showcase!

The white cloth is beautiful; all the little subtle hints of color, and a few pops of brighter color~~lovely work!

Oh, it's lovely! And it's extra special because your grandma embroidered some of it, I like that.
Stewie!! How fun. Lovely embroidered piece too.

Stewie is too cute! I hoped you enjoyed your son and daughter in love's visit. The embroidery piece is a real treasure and beautifully done.

I like that silky pouf of gathered fabric fastened with the pearl--it made me smile.
